TO ATTEND OR BE A VOLUNTEER AT 'crossing' Youth Camp News 2007 DAY 3 (06-06-2007) <<CONT.>> Once again a beautiful day, hot, but beautiful. Asking the group about the best part of the day ranged from making a Mountain Dew float, to a great Bible Study, to playing in the mud pit. Ben J sang in the evening talent show and was a big hit. The boat is built and waiting for tomorrow's race, Ben J will pilot our craft and you won't believe the outfit he will wear - photo op of a life time (pictures to haunt a lifetime). Worship is full and wonderful, Rob Turner our camp pastor is a very engaging speaker and connects well with teens and adults alike.
----------------------------------- DAY 3 (06-06-2007) Exciting things are happening as our group goes deeper. The Bible study and fun activities allow our young people to experience the "abundant life" that Jesus spoke of. It is amazing to see the way our guys & gals have grown closer and kinder to one another. We came to camp a group of small groups and already the group is growing into one whole. ---------------------------------- DAY 2 (06-05-2007)
---------------------------------- DAY 1 (06-04-2007) Day 1 began at 5:30 AM (local time) for the guys as our body clocks are still on Eastern Standard time); Ethan had a pre-breakfast snack of a jumbo pixie stix. The two Nathans are known as Big Nate & Little Nate. Weather is great, nice sun, great breeze. Aggaie is adjusting to not being a Mom, Ashely & Amber love calling Aggie "Aggie"! Becky can't stop playing with her new camera.
