We’re in a bit of a slump. After being held scoreless the last 2 weeks, we did score this week, just not enough to win. We have 1 game left against Main Street before the tournament. Go Team!

We have been back from J-Creek now a whole day, and all I can say is, ‘Boy am I tired.’
We look forward to the rest that vacation affords, for the change of scenery, and the time to relax and get refocused.
I am so grateful for the camp workers @Jonathan Creek; they did a wonderful job with our youth. John, Becky, and Aggie deserve much thanks from our church for giving of their personal time and for all the effort they put in to encouraging our young people. As you see them around church take a moment to express your thanks.
We’ll be thinking of you while we’re away, and we look forward to coming back refreshed.
Grace & Peace

The morning has started quietly. Our youth did excellent in talent night and have heard many positive comments from other campers and leaders this morning.
We are all a little tired of ‘walking the land’ but the trips have been worth it. John and Aggie have kept things interesting, we have had so many more smiles than frowns this week; it has been a very good week for us at camp. the video is the clip from talent night.

So after dinner last night we were warned of the on coming storms so we drove to worship. Everyone was safe and sound in the worship center and then God and Satan started fighting over head and Brent started preaching. We never werewet even though the electric flashed several times during the service and back in the room. Anna and Chris managed to get nice and dirty in the mud pit. Hannah made it highr than ever on the climbing tower! Chris has been initiated into the youth group now with his new nick name, Spanky. Aggie has been pretty good about not Momming out! We focus her on the trees and the pretty grass if the urge hits. Everyone is going to bathe today as they are starting to mold. There are smiles on every ones face and everyone is having fun! There have been several decisions made so keep praying for our group.

The day started out with a little rain that was over by the end of breakfast; now all is sunny and bright. A lot of laughs and smiles, and plenty of good things happening among our young people; at times I stop and remember earlier struggles (in years past) and marvel at the maturity and growth I see in so many of these promising young men and women.
The video is a collection of launches off the blob

Well. Things did not go well for us last night. With several team members gone to Youth camp, and others on vacation or in VBS, we tried to give New Hope a game. Unfortunately, our bats were silent, leading to a 10-0 loss. Next week we have a bye, so we have an extra week to recover. Check the calendar for make up games: 6-30 at Grant’s Lick vs 1st Alex. at 7:40; 7-7 at Plum Creek vs Main Street at 6:40.
